MAX

  Max woke up early on the first day of school, excited and nervous at the same time. He quickly got dressed, had breakfast, and packed his favorite superhero lunchbox. As he walked to the bus stop, he couldn't help but feel butterflies in his stomach. Once he arrived at school, Max saw his friends waiting for him.   The pyramids were built over four thousand five hundred years ago. They are in Egypt on the west banks of the Nile River. They were built by the ancient Egyptians called the pharaohs. Pyramids were meant to be giant tombs for the kings of Egypt. They store all their wealth with them in the pyramids when they die.   There are three pyramids. The first one is called Khufu known as the Great Pyramid. It is the biggest and oldest of the three. The pyramid was built by King Khufu, the second king of the fourth dynasty.   The second one is called Khafre. It is the second biggest pyramid.   It was built for the fourth king of the fourth dynasty, King Khafre. It is special retaining some of the original limestone rocks from around 4500 years ago.   DISCLAIMER: This biography is purely fictional. It is an humble attempt to hone my biography writing skills. The date was December 24 th during the early 1800’s (1849 to be exact), Christmas eve, the day an influential person was born. Her name was ‘Andrea Mc-Colin'. In the US Andrea and her family were considered slaves to people. One day just a month before Andrea’s fifth birthday, her father was trying to go abroad to get themselves away from slavery, but the guards put him under arrest for being a person of color. Five months later, her father was sold back into slavery. Andrea’s mother was doing everything she could to support her child, but later she found out she was pregnant with twins. Although it was a high-risk pregnancy, she managed to feed herself and her children. A few days after Easter that year her Andrea’s mother gave birth to two boys.
